My Bio
Meet Dallas Moore, Write-In Candidate for Barberton City Council At-Large. I’m Dallas Moore, a proud Barberton resident and write-in candidate for City Council At-Large. While I didn’t grow up here, I chose Barberton as my home—and I’m deeply committed to helping it thrive. Professionally, I work in the private sector and bring years of experience in leadership, budgeting, and operations. I’m also completing my MBA with a concentration in finance in August 2025. I’ve been honored to serve on the Barberton City Charter Commission and was elected president of my neighborhood HOA in early 2025. I also held regional leadership roles during college, overseeing educational and development programs across seven states. As an independent candidate, I bring a new voice to a council with no independent representation. I’m focused on improving infrastructure, revitalizing neighborhoods, maintaining fiscal responsibility, and making sure every Barberton resident has a voice. Let’s create more opportunities for Barberton—together.

Modern Infrastructure and Reliable Services
Barberton deserves infrastructure we can count on — including upgrades to our aging electrical grid to help prevent outages and keep our neighborhoods safe and functional.
Smart Budgeting and Financial Responsibility
With my professional background in financial analysis and my MBA in finance (expected August 2025), I will bring sound fiscal management to council decisions — making every tax dollar count.
Community Engagement and Civic Involvement
I will work to increase public participation in city matters — from accessibility of council meetings to more transparent processes and clearer communication from City Hall.
Independent Leadership for an Independent City
I’m running as a nonpartisan candidate because Barberton deserves a voice that puts people before party. With no independents currently on council, I'm offering voters a fresh alternative rooted in common sense, collaboration, and service.

Let’s take pride in our city. I support clean-up efforts, stronger code enforcement, and smart development that enhances our neighborhoods and attracts new investment.
