My name is Keith Tiner, and I’m running for Benbrook City Council because I believe in responsible growth, transparency, and putting our citizens first. I graduated from Fossil Ridge High School, earned my Bachelor’s degree in Music Business from the University of Texas at Arlington, and completed my MBA at the University of Phoenix.
With my business background and passion for service, I want to help guide Benbrook’s future in a way that balances smart land use with protecting our environment and community values. I’m committed to listening to residents, making thoughtful decisions, and ensuring that Benbrook remains a safe and thriving place for all of us to call home.

Land Use
I believe responsible land use is the foundation of Benbrook’s future. As we approach full buildout, every decision must balance growth with safety, infrastructure, and environmental protection. My priority is to ensure new development enhances our quality of life without straining resources or diminishing the character of our community. I will advocate for smart planning, protecting green spaces, and making sure projects align with the long-term needs of Benbrook residents.
Economic Growth
I believe Benbrook’s economic growth should strengthen our community while preserving its character. By supporting local businesses, encouraging smart development, and attracting the right kind of investment, we can expand our tax base without overburdening residents. My goal is to create opportunities that bring jobs, services, and long-term stability while keeping Benbrook a safe and welcoming place to live.
Strong City Services
I believe strong city services are essential to maintaining Benbrook’s quality of life. From public safety and infrastructure to parks and community programs, these services must be reliable, efficient, and responsive to residents’ needs. My priority is to ensure tax dollars are used wisely so our citizens receive the highest level of service and support while keeping Benbrook safe, clean, and thriving.
