I am running for office to bring fresh, dedicated leadership to District One. My focus is on addressing our communities’ pressing needs through innovative solutions and collaborative efforts. I aim to amplify the voices of District One residents, ensuring our district thrives and our concerns are heard at the state level.
I bring an out of the box view to the table that better represents the average person. I was raised by a single mother in a trailer park, in rural Ohio and she instilled in me a drive and passion to do what is right no matter what. I was raised to always give back, even when I think I have nothing left to give. Throughout my life I have overcome challenges at every corner, be it from poverty, helping to raise my siblings, or the challenges that come with being neurodivergent and LGBT+ in a small town. I face every challenge head on, and I don't back down. I believe that kindness, compassion and standing up for those who cannot stand up for themselves is the only way to measure a person's strength. I will give this campaign all I have and more, and if I am elected, I will fight to ensure the rights and liberties of all Ohioan's are protected indefinitly.
"Winner Takes All" doesn't give voters a real choice, turning elections into popularity contests. Ranked Choice Voting lets voters pick what's most important, ensuring their voices are heard.
Citizens are often unaware of how tax dollars are spent due to confusing budgets and misleading bills. This lack of transparency undermines fair representation by elected officials.
Police officers often evade accountability for crimes that would ruin civilians' lives. Stricter accountability, enforced body cam requirements, and abolishing qualified immunity are vital to protect citizens from corrupt law enforcement.
