Vote For Sarah Knack

A Knack for Action

My Bio

Focused on What Matters Here

I am running for District 3 Commissioner because I believe local government works best when it stays focused on the community it serves.

As a resident of District 3, I understand that the issues facing our town aren’t partisan, they’re practical. Safe roads, strong schools, well-maintained parks, thoughtful growth, and transparent decision-making are what shape daily life for families, seniors, and neighbors alike. Those are the priorities I'm running on.

I'm committed to a community-first approach to local government. I believe residents should have a real voice in decisions that affect their neighborhoods and that growth should be planned carefully to protect the character, safety, and affordability of the community. Listening comes first, before votes are taken and before decisions are made.

Running as an independent, I'm not tied to party politics or outside agendas. I'm focused on what works here, for the people who live here. I believe local leaders should respect personal freedoms, work collaboratively, and keep their attention on the responsibilities of local government, not national politics.

I'm running to bring a strong, thoughtful, and practical voice to District 3 — one that puts neighbors first and stays focused on what matters most to this community.

My Key Issues

Parks and Recreation

Cheatham County needs more opportunities for youth and families. I support creating a community recreation center with features like a pool, splash pad, or skate park, along with programs for seniors, parents, and children. This is about investing in our people, strengthening community ties, and building a county that works for everyone.

Education

We must prioritize strong investment in public education—ensuring our public schools are supported and strengthened, even as state funding increasingly flows toward private schools via vouchers.

Urban planning and smart growth

We need steady, sustainable growth that respects and works within our existing infrastructure.
