My Bio

For over 20 years, I've been a Clarkston Resident. As a first generation Haitian American, devoted wife, proud mom to two incredible college students, I am honored to pour my energy into our diverse community. What defines me? My commitment to serving Clarkston, my role as an intentional listener and my proactive work to find solutions to the challenges our Clarkston faces.

I've dedicated countless hours to our local schools, rolling up my sleeves to ensure no child falls behind. Whether it's tutoring sessions after class to build confidence in reading and math or organizing after-school clubs that celebrate our teachers and kids. I've seen firsthand how a little extra support sparked big dreams.

On the fields and courts, I've coached sports teams, teaching leadership skills and the power of teamwork. Watching a ragtag group of elementary kids turn rivalries into lifelong friendships. Pure joy. Which I’m a mother to so many. And, for our high schoolers, I've been right there in the trenches, guiding them through scholarship applications, essay revisions, and college fairs. Last year alone, I helped a dozen students land acceptance at their dream schools, from Georgia State to Kennesaw State. It's not just about the acceptance letters; it's about showing them they can accomplish their dreams.

That's why I'm running for City Council to bring this same hands-on energy to City Hall. I've listened to families’ stories at PTA Meetings and Potlucks; now, let's turn them into action to continue to strive for safer streets, affordable housing, reasonable economic growth and programs that empower every Clarkstonian. I'm not just a resident; I'm one of you, ready to serve. Let's build the Clarkston we all deserve.

My Key Issues

Housing

As a dedicated Clarkston resident committed to our city's diverse and growing community, I strongly support expanding affordable housing options to ensure every family—regardless of background—has access to safe, stable homes that foster opportunity and belonging. By partnering with local developers and leveraging state incentives, we can build more inclusive units without displacing current residents, strengthening our neighborhoods for generations to come.

Supporting Small Businesses

As a first-time candidate deeply invested in Clarkston's vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem, I wholeheartedly endorse business development grants and zones to fuel the growth of our small businesses, from family-run ethnic eateries to innovative startups, ensuring they thrive in our diverse 1.5-square-mile city. By prioritizing accessible funding and flexible zoning, we can generate local jobs, honor our immigrant entrepreneurs, and build a resilient economy that benefits every neighborhood.

Public safety

As a passionate first-time candidate for Clarkston City Council, I champion neighborhood watch programs to empower our diverse residents in building safer, more connected communities where everyone feels invested in collective vigilance and support. By expanding these grassroots initiatives with training and resources, we can proactively deter crime and strengthen the bonds that make our multicultural city a true beacon of unity.
