I’ve called Kearns home for the last fifteen years, and this community means everything to me. My family has roots here that run deep. My children all attended local schools, and some of my fondest memories are of walking them to South Kearns Elementary every morning with our bulldogs by my side. Over the years, I’ve volunteered in classrooms, chaperoned field trips, served as Vice President of the PTA, and cheered from the sidelines at countless games.
Through the PTA and local events, I’ve built lasting friendships with my neighbors, and those relationships mean so much to me. The sense of community we share in Kearns is special, and it inspires me to give back in every way I can.
Kearns has shaped my family, and now I’m running for Kearns District 2 City Council because I want to help shape the future of our community. My work as an Appeals Specialist has taught me the importance of listening, problem solving, and standing up for fairness. These are skills I will bring with me to local government.
As your councilmember, my priorities are clear:
• Safe streets and walkable neighborhoods so families feel secure whether they are walking to school, biking to the park, or driving home
• Smart and responsible development that balances growth with the needs of long time residents
• Strong parks and youth programs that give our kids safe spaces to play, learn, and thrive
• A community that listens and leads with care where every voice matters and neighbors look out for one another
Kearns deserves thoughtful leadership rooted in real experience and genuine care. I’m ready to serve, and I would be honored to earn your support
Kearns is growing—but growth should work for our community, not against it. I support smart, community-driven development that revitalizes vacant lots, supports local businesses, and preserves our neighborhood feel. I’ll push for thoughtful planning that balances new opportunities with the needs of longtime residents.
Our kids deserve more than just screen time—they need safe places to grow, learn, and connect. I’m committed to expanding afterschool and recreation programs, upgrading park spaces, and supporting partnerships that give our youth positive outlets and real opportunities.
Kearns families deserve safe, well-maintained streets. I support traffic-calming measures, better lighting, and walkable routes—especially near schools and parks. I'll work to prioritize infrastructure funding where it's needed most and ensure our roads are safe for everyone, whether you're driving, walking, or biking.
Have questions or suggestions? I would love to hear from you!
