Our City, Our Council, Together We are Lilburn

Campaign Hero

My Bio

When I was seven years old, I stood with my family at a local rally for a city council candidate. I didn’t fully understand the responsibility of that office, but I remember the words: family values, community, equality, positive change, make a difference.

Today, I stand before my neighbors in Lilburn with that same spirit. I pledge to be a voice for our community, to expand opportunities for every child, and to guide our city’s growth with the values we share—faith, family, and service.

About Us

My family and I have called Lilburn home since 2012. II am a public health practitioner working for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. I managed programs with multi-million-dollar budgets providing life saving treatment and prevention services. My wife teaches at a private high school and is also a professor at Georgia State University.

We have two children. Our eldest is a freshman in college and a Presidential Scholar. Our youngest is a freshman in high school, top of his class, and has played at the highest level at the Gwinnett Soccer Academy, his second home since age four and a half.

As a family, we are actively involved in our community—volunteering at our local library, participating in adopt-a-road clean-ups, and helping feed the homeless.

My Key Issues

Safe & Welcoming Community

I will work closely with the City of Lilburn and Gwinnett County to strengthen neighborhood safety, expand partnerships with schools and nonprofits, and ensure families across Lilburn feel supported. A safer city is one where neighbors look out for each other and families thrive.

Sustainable Growth & Preservation

Lilburn is growing, but we must balance that growth with preserving our community’s values, natural beauty, and character. I will support sustainable development policies—encouraging small business growth in areas already zoned for commercial use, protecting green spaces and development of single family homes, and advocating eco-friendly infrastructure by leading the charge in environmental impact and not relying on developers telling neighbors there is nothing to worry about.

Opportunities for All Generations

Our strength lies in our people, young and old. The city of Lilburn is experiencing a youth bulge. 1-5 year olds account for a large percent of our population while our elder are slowly declining. I will promote programs that bridge youth and senior citizens, and not push our elderly out of their homes. I will work with the community on activities that promote mentorship, service projects, and shared community spaces—while ensuring families across Lilburn have access to recreational programs, educational opportunities, and healthy resources that help them thrive.

Accessible Leadership

I pledge to be an accessible and responsive representative for the residents of Lilburn. I will make myself available to listen, address concerns, and ensure that city government reflects the voices of our community.
