Campaign Bio (100 words)
I am Jason Stoops, a lifelong Wilmington resident and downtown property owner running for City Council-at-Large. I am directly invested in our community’s future and believe government must serve people, not itself. My priorities are clear: protect individual freedoms, stop selective code enforcement, control wasteful spending, and promote pro-business growth through fair zoning and real downtown revitalization. Guided by Libertarian principles, I will work to restore transparency, accountability, and fiscal responsibility in city government. I am not a career politician, but a neighbor committed to ensuring Wilmington thrives with freedom and fairness at its core.
