My Key Issues
Public safety
I have experienced firsthand how a lack of police training and accountability erodes public trust. I will champion policies that prioritize de-escalation training and community engagement to ensure our police force is a supportive presence. Furthermore, I will advocate to expand the Community Response Team program, providing more jobs for Paramedics/EMTs and ensuring our community receives the care it deserves.
Parks and Rec
Open space, parks and tree canopy offers not only a lot of benefits to the city but it's also a place for people's mental health and wellbeing. Community gardens can also help the community get together and address food disparities.
Transparent Accountability
I will demand greater transparency in our city government's budget and hold developers accountable by advocating for stricter zoning setbacks and requiring them to pay their fair share for infrastructure upgrades.
