My Bio
I have proudly called New Albany home since 1999, when my family moved here and my sister and brother-in-law graduated from NAPLS. I quickly fell in love with this community and knew it was where I wanted to raise my own family.
For the past 20 years, I have been married to my amazing husband, Zach, and together we are raising four children in the district. Our oldest, Campbell, is a junior and a varsity cheerleader. Paisley is a sophomore and the varsity goalie for field hockey. Lindy is in 5th grade and dances with Broadway Bound, while Nash is in 3rd grade and plays on the New Albany Maroon travel baseball team as well as recreational soccer.
I earned my degree in Education from The Ohio State University, which has fueled my passion for supporting students and strengthening learning environments. Over the last 12 years, I have been deeply involved in our schools through the PTO—serving as a room mom, Head Room Mom Coordinator, and PTO President at the ELC, Primary, Intermediate, and Middle Schools. These experiences gave me the privilege of working closely with students, teachers, and families at every level of our district.
I am also the owner of The Schoolhouse of New Albany, a preschool where I get to live out my passion each day by providing care and education for future New Albany Eagles.
I am excited and ready to take this next step in serving our community as a member of the New Albany-Plain Local School Board. My commitment as a parent, educator, and community member is to support the great leadership we have in place and to ensure all of our students continue to thrive.
