My Bio

I was born and raised right here in Putnam County, and I've spent my life doing what my parents and community taught me serve others, work hard, and tell the truth. Whether through leading nonprofit organizations, coaching kids on the field, or helping folks navigate life's challenges, I've always believed service means stepping up, not just showing up.

I'm not a career politician. I'm not trying to make headlines or build a brand. I'm running for County Clerk because I believe we can do better. We can do this with more professionalism, more transparency, and a whole lot more focus on people, not politics.

Now, some folks might say, "Why does education matter for a County Clerk?" Let me break it down in plain talk. Running the Clerk's office is more than stamping papers or signing off on licenses. It's about managing millions of dollars, public records, legal documents, and vital services. That takes know-how. That's where my background comes in.

I earned my Master's in Public Administration and Public Policy, and I'm almost finished with my PhD in the same field. That's not just a bunch of letters after my name, but it means I've spent years studying how government works and, more importantly, how it can work better.

Think of it like this: If your car breaks down, you want a certified mechanic. If you need surgery, you want a trained doctor. And if you're trusting someone with your marriage licenses, your deeds, your business records, and your public tax dollars—you ought to want someone who actually studied how to run government offices the right way.

I'm not here to sling mud at anyone (I'd rather be serving them snow cones!). My opponents are good people. But this job isn't about who's the most popular or who has the right letters after their names. It's about who has the skill, the heart, and the experience to keep the Clerk's office running smoothly for every single person in Putnam County.
