I was born 1993 in Alva, Oklahoma. We moved up to Kinsley, Kansas to be closer to my stepdad and his work. I achieved my diploma in 2012 and attended college in Coffeyville Community where I graduated with an Associate of Arts. Since then, I have enrolled in WSU but forced to drop out due to complications from Covid-19. This also resulted in me ending my employment at the Dillon’s deli on Rock RD, which I had retained for two years prior. After a long two-year break, I went to work for USD 260 as a substitute teacher where I still enjoy working to this day.
With a priority of safety and security, I believe we can expand our current programs for the underserved and the most vulnerable in our community.
As a servant of your community, I vow to always operate with full disclosure and accountability for decisions made by myself and my colleagues. I will respond to your complaints and your criticism.
Our community come from many cultures and backgrounds and we celebrate our differences as well as our common goals. It's vital to ensure everyone has space for their ideas free from persecution.
The chaotic and sometimes dangerous world of the Internet can be just as potentially harmful to our youth as it is effective as a tool for learning. As a millennial, my education has been connected with computers throughout. This allows me a unique perspective on how to incorporate technology and monitor it's efficacy.
