Strengthen partnerships between schools, parents, and community organizations, ensuring families have a voice in decision-making.
Advocate for transparent budgeting and responsible spending so that every dollar benefits students directly.
Promote trauma-informed practices, mental health supports, and safe learning environments that address both academic and social-emotional needs.
Ensure resources are fairly distributed across all schools, expand support for English Language Learners and special education students, and celebrate cultural diversity within the district.
Improve curriculum alignment, support teachers with professional development, and strengthen early literacy and STEM programs so students are prepared for success.
Expand support for Head Start and Pre-K programs to ensure every child in Orange starts school ready to learn. By investing in early childhood education, we can close achievement gaps, strengthen social-emotional development, and set the foundation for long-term academic success. Strengthening Head Start means more resources for teachers, smaller class sizes, and better support for families during a child’s most important developmental years.
